Praise for King Sheim:

“My favorite set came from King Sheim, a recently developed trio led by the exuberant Celeste Felsheim. What’s remarkable about King Sheim is that you can hear the influences — mostly riot grrl — but never find the sound imitative or reductive. It feels as though they’re in conversation with their musical forerunners. Their rock is a thrillingly shape-shifting kind that recalls the finest of The Distillers and the recently formed Priests. Felsheim, whose hot-blooded singing is as heartfelt as her cathartic growls, proved herself one of the most engaging front-people of the evening.”
